Nasmyth Group, a leading global supplier of precision engineering products and services, is delighted to announce that it has been ranked as a Sunday Times Profit Track 100 company. This highly respected league table ranks British companies with the fastest-growing profits and is compiled by Fast Track, a leading networking events and research firm. It is published as a special supplement in The Sunday Times every April.

Founded in 2003, Nasmyth Group now comprises 14 specialist, customer-orientated businesses serving the aerospace, defence, energy, medical, specialist automotive, marine and space industries. With its range of complementary skills and disciplines, the Group can offer its customers all the benefits of a truly optimised, single source, supply chain for everything from the smallest individual machined components to large, complex, multi-part assembled products and structures.

A programme of strategic investments, the best-in-class capabilities of its constituent businesses and a commitment to a policy of continuous improvement all underlie the impressive profit growth that has resulted in the Group now taking its place amongst the country’s most successful private companies. Businesses that featured in the 2013 list included such high profile names as JCB, Pret a Manger and Dr Martens.

Peter Smith, Chairman and CEO of Nasmyth Group, commented: “We are extremely proud to have been recognised in this way for our consistently impressive profit growth over the last three years. It is a great tribute to the skills, dedication and drive for innovation that are to be found right across all of the Group’s businesses and in each of our employees.”
